Start with how you are doing now.

Recovery has its own pace. Our conversation starts with what has changed since treatment and what you want to work toward: returning to work, rebuilding routines, feeling stronger, or addressing symptoms that still affect your day.

We consider your treatment history, current medications, relevant investigations and the follow-up plan from your cancer care team. New or changing concerns are assessed in that context.

Start with a conversation about your priorities.

Nutrition for your current needs.

Clinical nutrition considers appetite, digestion, changes in taste, food tolerance and the practicalities of eating well. Recommendations account for your nutritional needs, treatment effects and preferences.

We review supplements alongside medications and your oncology history. Where further nutrition expertise is needed, care can be coordinated with a registered dietitian.

Energy, sleep and confidence in movement.

Fatigue, disrupted sleep and persistent discomfort deserve attention after treatment. Assessment helps distinguish possible contributors and identify where further investigation or another clinician's input may help.

Your plan may bring together sleep strategies, appropriately paced movement, pain care and sustainable daily routines. The aim is meaningful progress in your own life, with reassessment as your needs change.

Stay connected to your oncology follow-up.

Your oncology team guides surveillance for recurrence and treatment-related late effects. With your permission, we can share relevant findings and recommendations with your oncologist and primary care provider.

Additional laboratory work or other testing is considered individually, including whether the result would change care. We review its role alongside your established follow-up schedule.

Longer-term health, with your priorities at the centre.

As recovery evolves, we can revisit preventive care, cardiovascular and metabolic health, nutrition, physical activity and other health concerns. Your history and oncology care inform those decisions.

Some people are ready to make changes quickly; others need a gentler start. We build a manageable plan and keep reviewing it together.

Can I start while I am still seeing my oncologist?

Yes. Post-treatment support can sit alongside ongoing oncology follow-up. Share your current care plan and medications so recommendations can be considered together.

Can we discuss lingering side effects?

Yes. We review symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disruption, digestive concerns or neuropathy in the context of your treatment history and coordinate further assessment where appropriate.

What should I bring?

Your treatment summary, current medication and supplement list, recent results and oncology follow-up plan are useful starting points.
